Terrific Kankri Wig
I wanted to link this wig here because I recently bought it, and it is absolutely the most perfect wig for kankri I could ever imagine. Remember, his hair is neater than karkat’s and also more wavy, so this one is perfect. It literally looks exactly like the photo, and the only styling I had to do was to trim the bangs a little. I highly recomend this site for wigs, they are of exceptional quality and can even do custom ones for you!

Sweater Advice
There a now quite a few characters in the Homestuck universe that wear the greatest clothing ever created. The sweater.
This website is a definite go to for anyone cosplaying a character that wears a sweater. Not only that but they ship internationally! That’s right. Any country on this darn fine planet. First one character that comes to mind in the “sweater club for cool trolls” is the “Seer of Blood” Kankri Vantas.

This turtleneck right here is a almost perfect asset for anyone cosplaying as the long winded lecturer. While it does not capture the “hand made” quality some of you might want, it is still a well produced and comfortable fitting piece. It’s light enough to wear during summer cons too!
Next is the douchefin himself Eridan Ampora, this is a slight model down from Kankri’s but it’s still a lovely clothing piece.

These things are lambswool so be careful if you think you might be allergic to these things (just me being careful) and by the way not only does this model make great for a Eridan but it’s also fantastic for use with any Karkat cosplay as well.
All I can see that needs to be adjusted is stencilling or printing onto the sweaters themselves which I am afraid I have not done. I may edit this when I experiment with my own pair of these.
Mod Note: Don’t feel like you need to buy a $30 sweater for Eridan or Karkat; both look fine with a long-sleeved shirt. I included it for those people who just really love the sweater headcanon, though it may not be the best choice for packed conventions. The Kankri sweater is spot-on, with a great neck and no cable texture for maximum accuracy. While wearing this, be aware that some people have wool allergies, as mentioned above, and don’t go touching other people’s stuff - the oils in wool stick to practically everything and can give some individuals hives.

Excellent Kankri Sweater
I purchased this sweater ($20.90 without tax) for a friend, and we both love it. It’s good quality, comfy material, and the perfect color. I personally like its visible knitted stitches, as Kankri’s sweater is handmade.
It is a mock-turtleneck, so if you want a true folded-over turtleneck, you could probably make/find another red turtleneck piece and modify/replace the original.
Otherwise, the mock-turtleneck looks fine by itself (and will probably be less deadly during hot summer cons!)

Kankri Sweater
While I was looking through taobao for Kankri sweaters, I came across this. I think it would make for a very nice one for him. I don’t know if it’s considered pricey but it’s a normal price for me. Hope it helps someone!

Mod Note: Wow geez it’s $135 and the sleeves and collar are a bit inaccurate, but I haven’t seen any other sweaters with a plain-textured torso. It’s a toss-up really, depending on your interpretation of the design and willingness to drop triple-digits on a single piece!
Nevermind haha, it’s actually more like $17-21, the 135 is yuan. Sorry about that, my google translate actually turned the yuan symbol to a dollar sign when I checked the page? No idea why. Just remember that you have to go through a shopping service to order from taobao.

I know there was another post for this, but when i checked the links the were already sold. But at JCPenny they have a red sweater that’s almost alike. Right here.
It is for woman though, but if you don’t care or you’re cosplaying a fem kankri then you should buy it if you want.

Kankri jumper for people in the uk
so i was out today (i was looking for cosplay stuff actually ^^) and i saw a really nice jumper for kankri in h&m it’s quite nice thick wool and it looks like it would cover curves pretty well (sadly i couldn’t try it on because we didn’t have much time) but if you’re in the uk and are finding it hard to get something due to postage costs and such it’s worth a try
