I was looking online for my cosplay group’s trickster cosplays’ (More specifically mine), and I thought that I would share my findings with you guys!
The Pink Shirt/Dress thing

This is perfect color and size for the shirt, but in my opinion the bottom needs some hemming to get the correct length. The neck also might be a bit too scoopy, but you could use the cape and bow to cover it if it bugs you like it bugs me.

These are pretty much the same shorts, but in different shades of pink. The first is a lighter, rosier color, while the second is more of a magenta. If I’m not mistaken, the shorts should match the hood color, so I would advise you to purchase either the fabric or shorts first, then match try to match the color as closely as possible.

My headcanon has Female!Trickster!John with pink framed glasses, so I found these adorable cheap glasses. If you prefer regular John glasses, then I would suggest searching the John Mastertag.

The first are glittery, but they are a more accurate color, and it might fit someone’s headcanon. The second look like they are the right color, but the lighting in the picture could be hiding a greener shade than what we’re looking for.

These pairs both have bows on them, but the first have frilly garterbelts, and the second just have the bows. I’ve seen people cosplay Female!Trickster!John, and some of them decided to use these tights for a really cute effect. If you want regular thigh highs, you could either search the Trickster Masterpost, or you could order the second and cut off the bows.
Lollipop

I couldn’t find any good blue lollipops anywhere, so I found this tutorial and I figured that you could create a great looking lollipop for dirt-cheap.
And that’s all I have for Female!Trickster!John. If you’re wondering why there isn’t a wig on here, it’s because I am using my own hair for this, and I figured that it is probably really easy to find a good blond wig anywhere. Also, I would suggest keeping enough extra fabric from the hood cape for the bow, and look up a good tutorial on how to tie a large bow.

As a godtier John cosplayer, I had to look at a lotof stores irl and online for nice shoes. Unfortunately for me most links I looked at for yellow shoes were outdated and they weren’t for sale anymore, so I had to just take a white pair of canvas shoes, paint them yellow and my shoes turned out really hard and uncomfortable. But while I was looking around on charlotte russe for a new pair of shoes I found a pair of sneakers that would be really great for John’s godtier outfit! The color looks great, and as of right now there are sizes 6-10 available and on sale for 10 dollars which is really awesome. Also they come in red as well, so you could also use those as a base for John’s rocket boots c:

Found this at party city for 99 cents. I think it would be useful for those looking to make Vrillywho. You’d just have to make sure it works for your hammer and then tint it red.

I thought I’d submit some advice on cosplaying John, seeing though I’ve recently cosplayed him~! :D
Bearing in mind, this is my first time submitting advice, and I’m a total derp. Please excuse me for that!
Also, this may (or may not) be beneficial to everyone, but especially fellow Britstucks! (Uk cosplayers)
So I was originally looking around eBay for Latula Glasses when i found these babies for John and Jake.
They’re pretty cheap and you can get them in about 2 weeks. They’re thick frames with lenses, are a 2:1 ratio, and come both in a matte black and a shiny black depending on if you want the frames to be reflective or not.
The seller has multiple listings, so if one is sold out of the black you want, then another listing will have it!
I made a comparison post between these and my old glasses right here, but i’ll post a picture below so you can see them on a face.
I can see through them without a problem, but they’re non-precription, so if you need prescription glasses you’ll be blind with these unless you have prescription contacts.

These glasses are great for John or Jake. They are durable and they don’t seem to break if they fall off your head. The same website sells good glasses for Jade and Jane also.

I was looking for a pair of base glasses for Sollux and I came across this site: http://www.wholesalecelebshades.com/opticalclear-lens-amp-reading-glasses.html which doesn’t have much in the way of Sollux or Terezi glasses, but you could probably get glasses for most other characters there! There are quite a few pairs for Jade and Eridan and even Aranea!
