Perfect Vriska Cosplay Tutorial
I hope that this tutorial will successfully guide you through the process of perfectly replicating Vriska’s glasses, teeth, and wig with prowess quality and ease.
- First off, you are going to need some supplies.
- Once you have gathered these things, you can start on the glasses. Cut about a foot worth of wire to use.
- Good job! Now you need to flatten out any kinks in the wire for ease of shaping the wire!
- Perfect! Now you can twist the wire to shape the first half of the frame. Don’t worry about making it perfectly round! That’s much too mainstream!
- GOOD! Now the next half of the frame!
- NICE! Now we will add the ear-bit-thingies that keep the glasses on your head! It is best to weld the wire together. But if you don’t have a welder, I suggest using scotch tape!
- It’s looking good so far! Now let’s move on to the black lense! I find that black construction paper works the best!
- That’s nice! And look how hipster that unperfect circle is! Hot glue that baby on!
- ALL DONE WITH THE GLASSES! They should look like this!
- Beautiful! Now we can move onto the teeth and the wig! Styling a wig can be hard! Especially one as long as Vriska’s! For a first time cosplayer, I suggest yard which you can get at any nearby Hobby Lobby! For the fangs, I find that flase teeth can be a bit uncomfortable. Instead, I use printer paper! Be sure to cut out at least seven hundred pairs of teeth, because you will drool all over them and wind up changing them at least every ten minutes at any con!
- WONDERFUL! Now add a bit of lipstick, and your Perfect Vriska Cosplay is complete!
- And if you really want to STAND OUT at conventions from all of those other Vriskas, you can make use of any prop that Vriska uses in the comic!
