Stuck on Homestuck Cosplay?, Do you think that fangs are a super necessary part of a troll cosplay? I’m iffy on buying fangs that are probably going to be ill-fitting, since they tend to be on the more expensive side. What trolls do you think require fangs, and which do you think can go without?

I don’t think they’re super-necessary for a troll cosplay, but there are a few trolls who look more inaccurate than others without them.

As for fangs, there are several ways to make fangs that fit well, such as the fake-nails method. You are completely in control of the shape of your fangs, and can make them fit as well as you need. Otherwise, the fangs with the plastic-y filling tend to fit very well also.

The trolls I think need at least a pair of fangs to look super accurate are Vriska, Kanaya, Nepeta, Gamzee, and Terezi (but only if you want to give her a mouth of terrifying teeth.) Otherwise, don’t sweat it, it’s just the icing on the cake. :)
