I'm doing a Karkat Cosplay eventually (for MSPA Con, to match my other three friend's cosplays), and I was hoping for some advice! I already have most of the things I'd need to do his cosplay anyways, and I didn't want to do just an easy slap-together-and-go sort of thing. So I wanted to do an awesome and at least slightly unique prop. So far, an idea was an ~ATH book that I could have others sign and stuff, and maybe some variety of sickles. Any suggestions from you or the other readers? :D
As cool as an ~ATH book would be, I suggest sickles just because carrying a book around a convention center gets super irritating. With a sickle you have a handle and can hold it without thinking about it, a book you have to have one arm around and balance it and blah blah blah.
I had to carry a book once it got too troublesome after a while so it ended up in my bag after like three hours. Plus it limits how you can pose for pictures, there’s not much cool stuff you can do with a book.
