I have seen ALOT of Tavros cosplayers, or other trolls with large horns (I.E. Aradia) with small and/or sagging horns, where as mine stay up straight, and they are REALLY heavy duty! (Light weight too! :D) I have heard that model magic/sculpy is REALLY heavy and or breaks really easily, and I have a easy fix! It may take a few days, because you’re paper mache-ing, but TRUST ME. Its worth it!

What you need:

• Light-weight, block craft foam
• Lots of duct tape
• Scissors 
• News paper/printer paper
• Elmers glue and water
• Acrillic paint (Red, Orange, Yellow)
• Black headband
• Blow Dryer (Optional)
• Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks

Now, I cosplay Tavros..And I use my real hair..Regardless of what you’re using, this should work!

1. Carve foam into desired shape of horns (I used scissors to carve mine, but if you feel confident enough, you can use a carving knife/exact-o knife)
2. Take duct tape, and smooth out any and all lumps.
3. Cover ENTIRE HORN with duct tape (except for the base, that is being attached to the headband.)
4. Once fully covered, start to paper mache the horns, over the duct tape. (The duct tape is there so the glue doesn’t sink into the foam and make it all yucky D:)
5. Once first layer is down, wait for it to dry thoroughly before you continue. (You may use a blow dryer if desired.)
6. Lay down about 4 or 5 layers of paper mache, making sure no duct tape is visible..
7. Run a band of hot glue in between the paper mache and duct tape, to be safe.
8. Paint on the paint in the correct order, follow the directions on the bottle, onto how many layers is recommended.
9. Put on head band, and adjust the horn to the right position.. Hold and hot glue. Repeat for other horn!
10. Secure the horn from all over! Its okay if the hot glue touches the craft foam, just be careful.
11. And Ta-Daa! You have troll horns!
