Quick fix for cracks in horns, if you don't have...
So while I was making my horns for Terezi and Aradia, I noticed there was a lot, and I mean a LOT of cracks. I was a bit short on money so I couldn’t exactly get other things like super glue to fill in the cracks so I went out and bought a bottle of nail glue for about $2. New feature on matchwigs.com!
It’s called the bookmarklet, and it’s here to stop you from trying to flip between tabs to see if the wig you need is right for you!
Essentially it’s a button for your browser toolbar that creates a pop up window on the match.com website! You upload your picture to this pop up, and now you have your character’s hair right next to the wig you’re thinking of buying!

For anyone looking for a really great way to get lots of makeup off: have no fear! There’s a makeup remover by Comodynes meant for dry or sensitive skin that gets Ben Nye off like a charm. Attaching Horns to your Wig
“I glued my horns on a thin headband and then cut the mesh of my wig enough to poke the horns through the wig. I then sewed the mesh back together again around the base of the horns. This worked for a really stable set-up that looked like the horns were actually attached to my head.”

That Paradise body paint that was suggested is really good! My friend bought some the other day. It’s a water activated paint, 1.4 or 1.5 oz (I forget) for about $10 at our local costume shop. Some managed to stay on my friend through about two days with no sealant, and regular makeup remover melts it off....

Warhammer of Zillyhoo
I made a Warhammer of Zillyhoo tutorial. There are a few of them out there, but everybody does it differently so it is nice to see different takes on it. I used wood for the head, foam for the swooshy bit, and PVC for the handle.

In response to Paradise AQ Cake Make-Up suggestion
The Paradise AQ make-up is wonderful. It is water-activated cake make-up and once it dries will not smear, crack or come off unless it gets wet. HOWEVER, if you want to cosplay a troll, it DOES NOT come in the proper shade of grey. The only grey they have is called Storm Cloud which is a bit too dark for the trolls.
