Alternative to mixing?

Troll Ears
I’ve been through most of the pages on this blog and I’ve yet to see this, but maybe I just missed it.
Anyways, this is not necessarily a “must have” but something that I would definitely suggest. A lot of times I see trolls with pointy ears in fan art, and I like how it looks. My friend actually linked me to this site where you can buy fake elf ears for relatively cheap.

Jade's Eclectica Dress Patterns and Fabrics

Alternative to spackle for filling cracks!
Hi! One thing I’ve noticed with a bit of experimentation is that nail polish (clear) works really well for filling small cracks! It dries smooth so you don’t have to sand it. I’ve been doing a layer each day and eventually the crack gets filled and it’s not heavy. Just a thought!

I tried using the horn attachment method outlined in this tutorial and it didn’t work for me. I guess the types of snaps I used or the glue I used didn’t work.
Anyway, I already had the pieces of cardboard cut out and I got this idea.

Sorry for the submission, but I’ve used that armor making tutorial to make Feferi’s accessories and I just want to stress how important it is to use the floor polish to make them flexible. I spent days making my accessories only to have them all break apart because I didn’t follow that step! It’s a very good tutorial and everything comes out looking very nice!

for the feferi jewelry, another option could be metal sheets. i used them for jewelry for a different cosplay that has a metal cuff necklace and crown. you can draw on it, cut it with normal scissors, and make it into relatively comfortable and very lightweight jewelry. i made the necklace with a back closure like normal necklaces have, so it’s easy to wear, and a similar thing can be done...
